The context
A higher education provider, and three audiences expecting different things from the same tool: a visitor discovering the course catalogue, a student following classes, an administration that enrols, invoices and issues diplomas.
The problem
Serving those three uses with three separate tools means entering the same people three times, and reconciling by hand an application, an enrolment and a diploma that all describe the same student.
What I did
A Laravel 12 API carries 45 domain models: from application to diploma, through programmes, courses, lessons, assignments, quizzes, attendance, tuition fees and payments. Two Angular 19 applications consume it — the public site, server-rendered so it stays indexable, and a back office split into 11 modules: academic, applications, certificates, content, finance, organisation, faculty, analytics and system.
The outcome
In production. The public content — slideshow, news, press releases, partners, key figures, team — is driven from the back office: changing it no longer takes a developer.
