Royal Electro — distribution management
Inventory and point-of-sale management platform, with the team's engineering conventions

The context
A home-appliance distributor whose business relies on regularly revised price lists across several stores.
The problem
Several stores, price grids revised on a regular basis, and actions that do not belong to everyone: opening a till, correcting a price, recording an import order. Without fine-grained access control, the platform forces you to trust everyone with everything — which no distributor can afford where cash is concerned.
What I did
A layered Spring Boot architecture organised by business domain — inventory, identity management, configuration — with strict separation between entities, transfer objects, projections and mappers. Beyond the code, the engagement produced the engineering conventions the team follows, along with a permission matrix and a production deployment manual.
The outcome
The distributor has been running the platform since June 2026.
