HarmoChic — online store and salon
Beadwork, home linen and hairdressing: two trades under one name, and content that stops living in the code
- 3
- applications: store, back office, API
The context
A house that makes and sells handmade beadwork, tablecloths and home linen, resells clothing, and runs a hair salon.
The problem
Two trades under one name, and content hard-coded into the application: contact details, tagline, social links. Fixing a phone number took a developer and a deployment.
What I did
A Laravel 12 API carries the cart, the orders and the seller commissions: guest-cart merging on sign-in, inventory reservation, order numbering, splitting one order across several sellers. Two Angular 20 applications consume it — the store and the back office — and the whole stack starts with a single Docker command.
The outcome
Work in progress, with an explicit target: no code change to alter a text, an image, a category, a product or a salon service. Page structure stays in code, everything else comes from the database.
